As part of the Great British Spring Clean come along and join in with The Medway Swale Estuary Partnership, RSPB and Campaign to Protect Rural England for an extreme beach clean at Cliffe Pools.
This is suitable for 12 years plus, as all volunteers will need to climb a 4ft metal ladder to get over the seawall. We will be working on a sloped surface.
We will be driving onto the site in convoy, so a prompt arrival time is required. My number for the day is 07909 200915
Please wear comfortable, sturdy footwear.
Equipment – litter pickers, bags and gloves will be supplied.
Could you please email Belinda the day before a clean so she can ensure there is enough equipment and, more importantly, biscuits!
Weather – please dress for the weather as you are more exposed on the foreshore.
Cancellation – please note beach cleans will be cancelled if there is a lightning storm or extreme wind/rain.
Everyone is welcome.
This clean-up was made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players.
